"This being my first experience (apart from High school plays which are more embarrassing than embracing) is very exciting for me as well as being a corner stone for what I hope to be a prosperous career in acting.

I hope to gain local as well as international exposure in the industry.

The script felt personal to me as I am an upcoming rapper and I feel it addresses the plight of many aspiring artists. If Amani can succeed so can I.

Inspiring and simply brilliant script!"

Isaac Kiarie

AGE: 21 yrs

NATIONALITY: Kenyan

"This is my first big role in any screen acting but I've done several stage plays like 'Bedroom Temperature' with Arts Unlimited at the Kenya National Theatre, 'Married Bachelors' with the same group at Alliance Francaise. At age 15, I also got a chance to be featured in another short film: 'The Aftermath' by Judy Kibinge. After that I've always concentrated on my studies but I have kept in touch with acting since I have a passion for theatre and it gives me a chance to live in different characters.

I think doing this film is going to be a big chance for me to expose myself and sharpen my acting skills since I am doing a big role at last.

The character Abdosh is an interesting character that I will very much enjoy doing and I know it will be easy for me, not because as Isaac I have the same character as Abdosh but because I know people who have similar characters and as an actor I can live nicely in any role."

Andrew Muthure

AGE: 27 yrs

"Aggression, creativity and hard work have driven me over the past 6 years from my very first experience as an actor on a professional set.

Since then I have done 20 stage scripts and 5 TV commercials, films and soap operas.

I always liked bad guys on films from when I was very young, now it's my turn to be one. I love Mlandimu! I encountered many of them when growing up and I've been a victim to a few of them. I expect internal exposure and growth in my acting career and I view this as the beginning of a journey to new horizons on international film sets."
